Actenoides concretus


A painting of the Rufous-collared Kingfisher. (Dutch: ‘Maleise bosijsvogel’).

This Kingfisher lives in evergreen to semi-evergreen forests of the Thai-Malay Peninsula and Borneo. They make a loud repeating whistle and low chuckling noises. Not globally threatened, but considered ‘Near Threatened’.

Painted with water mixable oil paints on wooden panel.

Size: 15 x 15 x 6 cm.

Varnished with a satin varnish, signed on the back.
Comes with a little golden hook to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Donated to the art auction at ‘Dutchartsysouls’.
